Spa Has Airlock In The Pump(s)
This usually occurs at initial start-up or when drained and refilled.
Always fill the spa by removing the filter(s) and placing the water hose into the filter hole in the filter compartment.
Pump #1 Airlock
- Push the jets buttons on and off slowly several times, this will help purge the air out of the pump
- Sometimes it may be necessary to loosen the union slightly, or to loosen the air bleed nut on the face of the pump, until water comes out
Pump #2 Airlock
- Push the jets buttons on and off slowly several times, this will help purge the air out of the pump
- Sometimes it may be necessary to loosen the union slightly, or to loosen the air bleed nut on the face of the pump, until water comes out
- Here is an easy way to prime pump #2, if necessary
- Place the spa in standby mode (Refer to your Owner’s Manual)
- Locate and remove the JetZone Divider and replace the JetPack
- Turn on Pump #1 ONLY for about 30 seconds and then place the spa back into Standby Mode
- Reinstall the JetZone Divider
- Resume normal operation
By removing the JetZone Divider you are allowing the water to be pumped all the way around the upper channel pipe and through pump #2
VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure pump #2 is not activated during this cycle; damage can be caused to the impeller of pump #2 if activated while Pump #1 is running with the JetZone divider removed.
