Superior Water Resistance
The AIRCAP 1™ is made with welded drop stitch fabric, which is coated with a waterproof polyurethane, ensuring the cover does not absorb water. This keeps the cover lightweight and prevents issues like mold or mildew growth which is an issue with traditional foam hot tub covers.
The AIRCAP 1™ uses welded drop stitch technology which results in a cover that is highly resistant to punctures, tears, and UV damage due to a robust fabric weave and exterior. The AIRCAP 1™ maintains its shape and rigid durability under pressure. Think of inflatable paddleboards and their rigidity and durability.

Safety - ASTM F1346-23 Certification
The AIRCAP 1™ hot tub cover was intentionally engineered as a manual safety cover to fully comply with ASTM F1346-23 — the current (as of 2023) Standard Performance Specification for Safety Covers and Labeling Requirements for All Covers for Swimming Pools, Spas and Hot Tubs published by ASTM International. This standard sets rigorous performance, testing, and labeling criteria to reduce drowning risk by inhibiting access to the water for children under five years old when the cover is properly installed and used according to manufacturer instructions.
